We shot this short film about the Indian government’s ongoing effort to provide Internet kiosks to each of the 90,000 villages in the country. Filmed in southern India in 2005, in Mandya in Karnataka state, and in Tirruppatur and Thirukolakudi, in Tamil Nadu state, India.
This shoot was the background for the tale “21st-Century Village: Telemedicine in Rural India” in Showdown at Shinagawa.
