This short film documents the spread of technology to outlying areas by the year 2000: the Lincos Project puts community Internet access into a pre-fab shipping container in a hilly, remote coffee-growing village in Costa Rica; a woman in Alaska studies for her degree online from a small town on the coast, through a distance learning program; high tech culture and industries bolsters the economy in India.
This is the film we were shooting in India, when we invented the silly road game in the tale “Wrecks and Pissers: The Bombay-Pune Road” in Showdown at Shinagawa.
